Why is there no single English word equivalent for the Japanese asatte?
The day after tomorrow. Four words.
Conversely, why can’t we express as economically as with ototoi?
The day before yesterday, ototoi, I paid my first visit to the infusion clinic. Today, I still feel 100% normal, even though I skipped my anti-nausea medication this morning (shhh, don’t tell my doctor).
I’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop, but maybe it won’t happen this week. There’s still plenty of opportunity though. I have 11 more weekly Taxol-Herceptin infusions to go.
